Recently, BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology has gained significant popularity and relevance. It allows for the visualization of the entire design process in 3D format, enabling quick adjustments to the project while considering their impact on adjacent systems. Many parameters, such as cable line lengths, are generated automatically, which not only reduces the risk of errors but also allows for more accurate calculations of cable product volumes. This, in turn, contributes to lowering the overall project cost and improving its accuracy.

This approach also aids in creating a detailed work schedule and tracking the progress of tasks, as well as facilitating the easy approval of changes and controlling the accuracy of design documentation. 

Considering new technologies, Patchwork has developed BIM templates for its range of modern solutions (see the list below). Our engineers are ready to provide templates for all popular components, ensuring convenience when designing cable infrastructure systems for data centers based on Patchwork solutions.
