Patchwork is expanding the Cercis product family with the introduction of new fixed modular fiber optic patch panels, designed for optical connectivity in the Equipment Distribution Area (EDA) of modern data centers and other high-density fiber infrastructures.
The new panels are fully compatible with the complete range of Currant pre-terminated cassettes and adapter modules, enabling customers to build and expand optical networks using a unified, highly flexible component platform.

The panel features a dual-level modular architecture, providing high port density while maintaining convenient access to every connection.
Each level can be configured with 2, 3, 4 or 6 Currant cassettes or adapter modules of the same form factor, allowing the panel to be tailored to specific project requirements. All required mounting hardware is included, simplifying installation and reducing deployment time.
The new Cercis panels have been engineered with day-to-day usability in mind.
Integrated side cable managers ensure neat routing of patch cords, helping maintain proper cable organization, reduce fiber stress and simplify maintenance.
A transparent hinged front door provides additional protection for optical ports while allowing quick access during moves, adds and changes. The door also accommodates a labeling card, making port identification faster and improving overall infrastructure management.
The new fixed modular Cercis panels are an integral part of the MYCELIUM ecosystem and are fully compatible with other Patchwork optical infrastructure solutions, including Currant modular components, fiber optic assemblies and additional MYCELIUM products.
The new panels are available for ordering now.
FO Patch Cord SM OS2, SCD - SCD, type S, LL
The SCD-to-SCD Patch Cord provide interconnect and cross-connect for network applications over installations in entrance facilities, telecommunications rooms, and at the desk.
Mini-ZIP cable saves significant space and simplifies cable management compared to traditional duplex cords.
Preferably used for connecting and patching inside or between adjacent racks.
